    Sirius obtains JOSCAR accreditation

    Sirius Analysis Limited is pleased to announce we have obtained formal JOSCAR accreditation. JOSCAR (Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register) is the accreditation and compliance system for the defence aerospace sectors including prime contractors, civil aviation and security. It acts as a single repository for pre-qualification and compliance information, providing an efficient way for buying organisations to determine if suppliers are “fit for business”.

    Sirius sign up to Armed Forces Covenant

    Sirius Analysis Limited (Sirius) are proud to announce we have officially signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant. Sirius commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.

    Sirius will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:

    • no member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen
    • in some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved.

    Sirius Analysis Limited recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by:

    • promoting the fact that we are an armed forces-friendly organisation;
    • seeking to support the employment of veterans young and old and working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers;
    • striving to support the employment of Service spouses and partners;
    • endeavouring to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment;
    • seeking to support our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible.

    Sirius accepted onto ASTRID framework

    Sirius Analysis Limited (Sirius) is pleased to announce they have been accepted onto the ASTRID framework. The initial 5 year framework, ran by BAE Systems CORDA on behalf of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), is worth up to £350m and will provide cutting-edge analysis thinking to underpin Defence and Security decision-making.

    Sirius’s Technical Contact for ASTRID, Tom Baldwin, said “Sirius has extensive experience of providing analysis support to Dstl, wider MOD and government from research to capability development and acquisition. We are looking forward to the opportunity to continue to apply our critical analysis skills and capabilities to real defence and security problems.”

    Sirius obtains ISO 9001 accreditation

    Sirius Analysis Limited (Sirius) is pleased to announce they have obtained ISO 9001 accreditation, which certifies Sirius’ quality management system (QMS). The accreditation was undertaken by an external auditor who assessed Sirius’s QMS, including policies, processes and procedures against the ISO 9001 standards. Jo Llewellyn, Sirius’ Quality Manager, said, “Sirius are committed to delivering high impact, quality analysis work to our customers. A well-functioning quality management system is critical to achieving this and ISO 9001 accreditation demonstrates this commitment.”

    Sirius achieves Cyber Essentials certification

    Sirius Analysis Limited (Sirius) is pleased to announce they have obtained Cyber Essentials certification. Cyber Essentials is a UK government backed scheme designed to protect organisations against a range of the most common cyber attacks. It uses a self-assessment to help companies ensure they have appropriate technical controls in place against cyber attacks. Jo Llewellyn of Sirius said, “Cyber Essentials certification shows that Sirius takes IT security seriously by having secure IT systems and appropriate cyber security measures in place.”
